The only true tea parlor in Louisville

We are a 3,933 sq. ft tea parlor and boutique proudly located in the historic J-town district 1.3 miles south of Southeast Christian Church. We are Louisville’s only “true” tea parlor and “Home of the Blooming Tea!” Owned and operated by Judy Rowland, a Southeast Christian Church member (since 1991) and Louisvillian. We sell locally made items in our boutique. Shop and support Local!

What we offer you, the customer

We offer quality, good tasting food, and super tasty tea in a relaxing environment, including “Blooming Teas!” We also have a photo booth area with professional lighting and back drop with props for you to take your own group photos to commemorate your visit with us. Or we can take your photo for you! Either way, we can put it on a custom digital gift item for you to take with you before you leave! Can anyone say….”Gift giving made easy?” Photo gifts are keepsakes and cherished above all other gifts! Formerly known as “Whatsoever Digital Things” will be closing that Facebook page and incorporating it here.

Additionally, we  have a boutique with unique gift items, most of which are locally made just for you, your family and friends. We also sell everything you need to recreate your tea sipping and dining experience at home. All of our teas and accessories are sold in the boutique as well as a bakery display case filled with tasty scones and treats to take home with you!

And lucky for you if you work in our area, because we have a “tea and scone of the day” as well as quick grab items for lunch like sandwiches and soups. We have a graduate from Sullivan Culinary School as our head chef at The Sword & The Scone Tea Parlor & Boutique! Just another way we support our local community!
